Multiplayer via GT Sport mode, which is somewhat similar to iRacing's SR/iRating system, is hit and miss right now. I already have 2.2 million credits, which includes the 1.6 million I got via purchasing the digital deluxe version of the game. Progression is pretty good, I have not felt the need to buy any cars yet. I am enjoying it more than I thought I would. There is a cafe with a bunch of menus that basically introduce you to the different parts of the game while offering nice rewards. I am doing the single player mode on PS5 and its good fun. Its very strong and I can feel weight transfer and the car losing grip, but no curb feeling unfortunately. ![]() #GRAN TURISMO 7 PS4 PRO PRO#On the PS4 Pro I am playing with my Accuforce using GIMX and the FFB is great. The controls on the PS5 version with the dual sense controller are best ever IMO for a racing game with a controller, in that the dual sense allows you to feel so much more than a typical controller - rumble strips, collisions, lack of grip, its all here. The series staple fantasy tracks they added, Deep Forest, Trial Mountain and High Speed Ring, all are great fun and of course they have never looked better. Tracks and cars look great on both versions, but again, there is definitely a difference. The PS4 Pro version runs at a checkerboarded 1800p. But the graphics on PS4 Pro are definitely good overall and so do not let them deter you. The graphics on the PS4 Pro are a definite step down, both in terms of resolution but also aliasing, which is prevalent, and slowdown due to lower FPS. #GRAN TURISMO 7 PS4 PRO FULL#Graphics are amazing, particularly on PS5, which does a full 4K at 60 FPS with no noticeable slowdown. Its solid even on Pro.I have at least ten hours into the game and here are my thoughts so far regarding both the PS5 and PS4 Pro versions of the game. If you like racing and GTs, get this game now. #GRAN TURISMO 7 PS4 PRO UPDATE#What else? Well the game needs 110GB on hard drive, and the day one update is bit under 20GB. So, even single player career needs online connection at all times. And since the game does not save progress offline, you will not get any xp or money for those races. Only thing you can do offline, is drive few arcade races. Note that the game does not have offline mode. Happily, rewards even on low level races are generous, and prices of tuning parts are reasonable, so the game does not require as much grinding for money as the old GTs. (remember to disable it from menus later or it will run every time you start the game!!!) #GRAN TURISMO 7 PS4 PRO MOVIE#Oh, and there's five minute opening movie (yawn!) that cannot be skipped. And then race lot more to unlock more tracks and races and so on. Only time framerate dropped was during replays on some circuits, but who cares about that?Ĭareer mode has slow start you have to get a license, and then drive thru about dozen races, before the basics (car stores, tuning shop etc) unlock on map. Actually, feels better to drive than Forzas (gasp!)!įramerate is really good and smooth, no slowdown noted during racing. Physics and handling feels better in this game than in GT Sport. Note that screenshots arent HDR, so the game looks smarter than that on HDR tv. On photo mode screenshots I did not use enhancers, just snapped few from the walk camera without processing them. Water and fog effects look really nice too. This far, I've only encountered one circuit that looked bit bland. Visually the game is almost identical to GT Sport (as it is on Pro). ![]() And the answer is, its lot better than I expected! So I've been driving GT7 all day just to be able to tell you how it is on PS4PRo. ![]()
